Primary Schools in Old Glossop or Broadbottom?

We are toying with the idea of moving to the Old Glossop area to be closer to family, nowhere near a definite move yet, but considering it. DS is going into YR1 at a very good state school where we live, it's a larger than average school but has lovely pastoral care and has has Outstandings in all areas. DD is starting the nursery attached to it in September. For us the kids are the biggest consideration. What are the schools really like there? Family there are well beyong the primary or Secondary stage!
