Cambridge independent primary schools

Hi - we are considering which school to choose for our two kids, y2 and. y4, when moving to Cambridge by end of year. We have looked at St John's, Stephen Perse and Kings - with a preference towards Kings. We are looking for a safe environment where there's lots of time for the individual student to grow and develop. Any help would be much appreciated.

Popular schools, so before you set your heart on one, it's best to check if they will have availability for both the years you need.

We considered perse but it was very middle class for lack of a better word.

Thank you very much, both, for input!
@BogglesGogglesBoggles, interesting point, as our impression (just from hearsay) was almost the opposite: Perse is elitist with much pressure (esp. academic) on the individual...?

Bogglesgoggles, what do you mean by 'middle class'? Too posh? Not posh enough? If you want more diversity of backgrounds I would suggest not going private at all!
