A few years ago I bought a comptete set of Julia Donaldson's Songbirds. The levels were: Lilac stage 1, Pink stage 1+, Red stage 2, Yellow stage 3, blue stage 4. Green stage 5, and orange stage 6.( I didn't buy individual books, but collections of 6 (or 12 stories) in one volume.
But looking at the Oxford website today, there now seems to be only 4 stages (with blue, yellow, red and green colours) and some of the books that previously had 6 stories in them now have 7.
I'm planning to use my old books with a reception child in the family. Does anyone know (maybe a teacher) if the newer versions have extra stories added, or if it's just the same 60 stories from before arranged slightly differently? . Thanks
