Cardiff Primary Schools

Hi everyone.I have a job interview next week and if I get it we will be moving to Cardiff.I have a 3,6 and 8 year old.Could anyone recommend some lovely primary schools? The areas we are considering are Penylan,Whitchurch,Heath,Canton.We are looking for somewhere where they can easily make new friends,ideally with good connections with sports,some after school clubs and good academic record.I’ve heard it’s quite competitive to get in to many places...We would consider other areas if the school was nice!TIA.

Penylan is lovely. it has Howardian Primary School, which is a good and relatively new school, a scouts group, and the area is popular with families meaning you can make some new friends
