Are the results of the screening something school have to share, or is it an on request thing?
Also, if a pupil became too distressed to complete it (has SN), does that get recorded anywhere? If absent, is the pupil supposed to do it on another day?

If absent they should do on another day, there are ways of recording if it didn't happen. It is not like year six sats that have to be completed on a certain day, for instance we do ours over the course of a week.

Schools have to report a child's results to their parents.
The check involves reading 40 words to a familiar teacher and takes only a few minutes. If a child becomes distressed the teacher can stop at any time.
