hi, moving to Richmond over the summer and my DD is likely to end up at Holy Trinity or Marshgate for year 5 from September. Any views on either / both schools? thanks

No personal experience at all but couldn't help myself at looked at government stats. Marshgate is absolutely amazing. Holy Trinity is very good too but seems to have a less able intake.

You're lucky that you can get a Y5 place especially if it's Marshgate.

Both great schools and you probably cannot go wrong, I would go with the best feeling for each depending on your DD's temperament too. Marshgate is a bigger school and the more resilient/social children will thrive. What are your plans for secondary school, are you going private or state? There is a lot of tutoring going on at all schools across Richmond, that will drive results too so do not put all the achievement on results on the school only.
