Prep Schools near St Albans

We're considering sending our LO to a prep school from Year 3. Our preferred options are Edge Grove, Lochinver House and Manor Lodge. Has anyone got any advice on what any of these schools are really like? We've been to the Open Days but would be great to hear some more personal experiences. Can anyone help please? TIA

2 of my nieces and one of my nephews are at manor lodge and they love it. the staff seem to be really caring, and the grounds they have are fantastic. they also have a fab 11+ choice school acceptance record too x
