Penryn Primary - advice?!

Hello, I'm after the insiders' view on what Penryn Primary is like... we're moving to the area soon, and really liked the feel of the school. We have 2 daughters, 6 and 8 who need places in September. BUT the Ofsted report looks pretty damning about things like behaviour and achievement - should we worry? Should we go with gut feeling? I'm not one to get too obsessive about Ofsted ratings but equally want my kids to be happy there. Any thoughts or advice appreciated! On Penryn or other local primaries... thanks in advance x

Hi Steph,

I hope you're well ( :

Just wondered if you ever found anything out about this, we have recently moved to Penryn and Penryn Primary would be our local school for our little girl, we have to decide by January. It's Ofsted says requires improvement and we haven't been able to visit due to the COVID situation, so are completely in the dark. We're not obsessive about the Ofsted rating either but same as you want her to be supported and happy there - any info or advice you have, however brief, would be much appreciated! Thea
