Moving in to the area and wondered what are the best state primaries? Not interested in Ofsted reports and results - I want to know where has a good community and the happiest kids and staff! We have 3 children, 8, 6 and nearly 4. the older two (girls) are not academic types - the 6 year old very good at sport and dance.

Would you be looking at faith schools? There are lots of faith schools in the area

newname yes would look at C of E or Catholic if they had spaces. Children are baptised Catholic but we would prob not get a reference from a priest as we have moved house a lot recently ad not signed the weekly form for Mass attendance nor have we attended every week (youngest is a bit noisy at church!). Happy with non religious too as good for the children to meet others of different faiths I think.
