Primary schools in Glasgow

Hello, we are moving to Glasgow. What are the best state primary schools and surrounding areas? Also considering school play area, after school clubs, extra classes like art music lessons and forest school. Academic reports are important for us but children's wellbeing as well. Looking for good schools with nice playground and green area.
With good family friend neighbourhood.
Thank you.

I would look at bearsden. it has a primary school which is very good, and lots of clubs like raenbow theatre school, woodcraft folk (kind of like scouts, they do a lot of outdoor activities, crafts etc). the school itself offers clubs too, you can see which ones here. all the best x

Ask in the Scotsnet topic - you might get more responses.

Do you want to live in the "suburbs" (Bearsden, Milngavie, Giffnock, Newton Mearns)? Would you prefer to live in the city (there are good state schools and areas within the city boundary Wink)? Would being further out ok (Strathblane, Bridge of Weir, Houston)? What is your budget?
