Anyone know that Stamford Park Infant School is good?
I am trying to find some research about A good Primary school in Altrincham.
Have any one can share with me? :)
Thanks so much Smile

In general all schools in this area are very good. Don’t have personal experience of Stamford Park but I’ve heard good things. I know the infants wanted to merge with the juniors to get a new build but the juniors are resisting (it’s a very old building and I think they are struggling with maintenance of it because if this).
The one that’s tends to have space is the Bollin because of we’ll publicised issues a couple of years ago bit I believe it’s got a new head and is supposed to be great now.
Go and get a tour of wherever you’re thinking of. Do you live in the area already?

Most of the schools in the area are pretty good. My DC went to Stamford Park and did very well. Both were friendly, happy schools. There has been a change of HT at the infant school since they were there though. There was a high % of children that went on to Grammar school if that is important to you. Downside is the lack of grassed area to play on at break time.

Friends have also rated Well Green Primary, which is much smaller, and Bowdon Church School. As already mentioned Bollin School had a lot of problems recently.
