Knolly's Road and Hitherfield/Dunraven/Julians

Hi there,

We will be moving to Knolly's road with our 2 toddlers this summer, the area is new for us and it would be great to hear any thoughts about the road and the community! A local estate agent was very off-putting calling it unsafe and busy so it would be good to hear from someone who actually lives there...

We will also be looking at the local primary schools (Hitherfield/Dunraven/Julians), would be really helpful to hear some other parents and kids experiences.

Thank you!

It's a lovely place to live! We are about a mile away and have friends on several roads very close to yours. Two friends with children at Hitherfield speak very highly of it. Catchment wise, if you went for Julians you would be allocated the Streatham site. From what I have heard, both that and the West Norwood sites are great. No experience of Dunraven but I believe you are guaranteed entrance to the secondary school if you go to the primary which would be a factor.

West Norwood leisure centre is very good and my DD has her swimming lessons there. The little playground next to it is currently being re-done and will have some nice big slides. West Norwood Feast is a lovely community event on the first Sunday of every month.
