To the lovely lovely year 6 leavers from my younger sons' primary school?

There were only eight yr 6 leavers this year, and they are all smashing children, real characters and bright personalities, every single one of them, and they have a great bond, with being such a small group.

The leavers' service this afternoon has been just lovely.

There were a lot of tears, more than I've noticed before from the children.

DS2 doesn't leave until next year, and DS3 the year after, but this year's group were just adorable.

Their parents should be very proud of them.

Oh lord - our leavers' assembly's on Wednesday. I'm going to be in bits!

I've got another two - but not til next year and the year after, lol.

It was lovely watching the service, knowing them but not being directly involved iykwim.
