Got primary place for reception but DH not happy with job (good reasons). Has 3 month notice period and will not be a local move... Has interviews...

Assuming a mid September start date for his job how do we play school starting for summer born child?

Has been enjoying school nursery (mixed EYFS in 1 classroom) since September.

How soon can we apply for school places? Assume we need an address- will probably be renting at least 6m to suss area.

Would it be possible to start school from temp (air b&b/hotel) accommodation if tenancy later - presumably better than starting in current location then moving 3 weeks in?

Timing is crappy but DH didn't want to risk moving jobs earlier this year/late last year because Brexit (over cautious...)

Will be relatively rural areas, definitely not SE (£££ for housing vs £salary) so barring localised issues there should be places somewhere...

Thanks in advance...
