End of year gift for reception teacher

My ds has loved his first year at school and a huge part of that is because of his amazing teacher. I'd like to get her a lovely end of year present as a thank you but I really don't know what the etiquette is around this. The school is in an affluent area so I imagine she does get very nice presents but I'd like something more personal than a bottle of wine or candles etc. I was thinking a hand-made xard from my ds and maybe something like a personalised pencil case off etsy filled with paperchase goodies? Any ideas?

Pencil case is a lovely idea. A child last year bought us (teacher and TAs) a personalised pen each which I really love. I really want a canvas bag like this decorated however the child chooses. One of my colleagues has one a child made them and it is so cute and used all the time.

The hand made card would be more than enough though. All the hand made cards I've had live in a box, I look through it when I've had a bad day and need reminding why I bother.

That's great thank you! I want to show that some thought has been put into the present for them. What about something like the attached? Would you be happy to receive something like this as a teacher?
