Primary School admission South Devon advice needed please :)

Hi there,
I was just wondering if any parents out there have any experience of Rydon School in Kingsteignton or Canada Hill Community Primary School in Ogwell, Newton Abbot? I've been to both with a view to sending our son there and both seem lovely. I've been given a deadline by the Local Authority of 1st May to get my order of preference in and now panicking as not sure what to do!!
Any advice or comments would be gratefully received... TIA x

If both are equally good, friendly ,well resourced schools with good out door space then I would choose the one that had the more straightforward journey.

Thankyou viques yes that is definitely something to consider. I think both are approx equidistant from the area we are moving to, Rydon a little closer if anything.

Remember it's not just distance, good roads, amount of traffic, ease of parking can also make a huge difference to a school run.

This is true .... I’m so used to a lovely big car park at my sons nursery I think I’m going to be in for a shock
