DD is five and will need to move from her Pre-prep at 7. She is v shy and struggling a little (summer born, poss other issues but Ed psych doesn't show anything yet). We are near JAGS and Alleyn's, but I suspect they are not the schools for her and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations ?

JAGS and Alleyns are pushy poshy if you like that sort of thing. There is a Steiner school in Blackheath.

I've heard good things about Sydenham High from people who didn't want JAGS or Alleyn's for those very reasons.

I'm not sure if they're close enough for you but you should look at Hampton Court House Jr and Senior, The Unicorn, Kew House, and St James Girls.
