Plain red t-shirts, not polo shirts.

Black shorts (PE).

Cant help on the tshirts, but mothercare had some black shorts and woolies sell pumps very cheap about £1.50 I think i paid.

Excellent, thank you. We have both of those in Town.

I don't fancy traipsing round all the shops. Asda had the polos but not plain ones.

You will get plimsoles in most shoe shops....woolies, shoeZone, clarkes, brantano.....

They all have a very slightly different shape and fit though. We trapsed around about 6 shops to find ones that properly fit DTDs as they have very long narrow feet and even narrower ankles. It can be worth shopping aroubd.

Surfermum · 14/07/2007 16:57

Thanks for that tip. DD has very wide feet, so that's helpful to know. I will make sure I take her with me.

annoyingly, and you probably won't forgive me for saying this, but I found the Clarks plimsolls the best for non standard feet.

So if you are having to do school shoes there, you can get the plimsolls at the same time.

SlightlyMadSpider · 14/07/2007 16:59

...and a shop that fits one term might not fit for the next. It is a right PITA for such a simple, basic part of school uniform. But I do like them to fit properly as they were them all day on teh classroom so spend more time in them than their school shoes

SlightlyMadSpider · 14/07/2007 17:01

Yeah but at 3 times the price. We have always been fine - it can just take a bit of shopping. They do apprently do half sizes though and I thought we were going to have to resort to them because of that last time.

Surfermum · 14/07/2007 17:02

We go to a Startrite independent. I expect he'll do them.

I wanted red t shirts for a dance show and couldn't get cheap ones. Had to resort to polo shirts instead. In fact, Anyone want any worn once red or blue polo shirts, variety of sizes age 6 - 10!!!!!!!
