Any views on Rokesley v Coleridge? The last thread on this topic seems to be 10 years old

Hi OP, will give you a little bump. I do have a DD at Coleridge but she is coming to the end of her time at primary.

On the whole it’s been a really good experience. It’s very large for a primary but it has some absolutely amazing teachers and still, by UK standards, seems to have a nice emphasis on learning through play, isn’t a SATS factory, has little formal homework and no uniform, it really lets children be children and gets good results.

The flip side slightly is that some mild learning issues for some children could have been addressed better but I think this might be an issue across all schools with their constrained budgets etc.

Certainly this is taking nothing away from Rokesley, which I have only heard good things about. Think in Crouch End generally we are pretty lucky with our schools, also have Weston Park, Ashmount and St Peter’s.

Thanks Mediumred. Does anyone have recent experience of Rokesley? It seems the infants is good but perhaps the junior school less so.
