So, what can I expect from DD1's school report?

Reception report was very sweet, although it didn't tell me an awful lot.

Will she get As, Bs and Cs or will it just be a few paragraphs? Is there even a national standard for reports?

we got a 4 page standard report of reaching the expected standard and no more. There was a little sheet attached on the back from the head teacher nothing too inspiring just the usual blurb.

We get a mark 1-4 for effort and 1 - 4 for attainment in numeracy, reading, writing and topic work. And a devastatingly accurate little character analysis, with targets and pointers for next year.
