Audley is very popular, but I felt it a bit pokey.

I loathed Hillcroft, but the daft bat head is long gone so it's probably much better now.

Marden Lodge went through a disaster phase but is doing great now.

St John's is popular but I can't see why, my friend moans about it constantly.

You may find your choice is made by geography, though. Whereabouts are you?

Huey25 · 09/03/2019 11:40

Near westway common so hillcroft is the closest i think..

Yes, Hillcroft would be closest. It's part of the same academy chain as Marden and Whyteleafe, and as I say, the God awful head who showed me around is long gone. People seem pretty happy with it nowadays.

There's no substitute for going and seeing though. What works for one family is anathema to another. But all the schools around here are pretty decent now, it's not like any of them are failing.

Chaldon primary (St. Peter & St Paul) is popular if small. Marden Lodge is host to the local Children's Centre but Hillcroft would be closest.

That's infants only though, and KS2 is St John's.

There is also St Francis, the catholic primary, but I don't know anything about it.
