Lindamood Bell v Readers are Leaders

Hello, my son is in year 1 and is about a year behind in reading. I am looking at both of the above programmes to try and help with his reading and was wondering does anyone have any experience of either ( or ideally both!). We live in London and the centres are about the same length journey but LM run an Easter camp which would be very convenient.

He also has some language delay and his eyesight has been tested and he has poor binocular vision which makes it hard for him to focus both eyes at the same time, and makes tracking difficult. We are working on both but obviously they are reasons why progress is slower than expected.

Done lots of LaR and they are very good, the staff were very helpful and understanding for my very shy child. Thoroughly recommend.

Thank you for your response, I feel LaR is probably the best option.

Sorry RaL, always get it the wrong way round!
