Moving to Redbourn Herts q. regaring village school

I was hoping someone could help me. We are moving to Redbourn and the closest primary will be Redbourn primary in the village. Please do let me know if you have child/ren that go to the school and your thoughts. It looks like it was an outstanding school a few years ago and standards slipped but have a new head and was wondering if there have been many positive changes? it one of the very few that have a place in the area.

Hello, Given the date of the post it is very possible your child/ren have already started school. I do not have any firsthand knowledge, but am friends with a mum who is trying to move her 2 kids out of the school. I know Redbourn is a lovely, active and closeknit community, but my impression is few people are willing to speak candidly about the school since the new head joined. Hope you managed to speak with parents who have children currently at the school!
