Duncombe Versus Heath Mount

Hi

I am looking for some honest opinions on Heath Mount and Duncombe schools.

Having looked round them both, I would say we are swayed more towards Heath Mount, but I'm dubious about finishing at 13, as everyone else will be settled in their secondary schools by then.

Anyone's experiences of both schools would be welcome.

Thanks

Are you planning state or private for secondary? Heathmount preps for common entrance at 13 but some do leave at 11. They are very different schools so it depends on what you want.

We are planning private at the moment.
I would be interested to know the fundamental differences.
Thanks

Heathmount is a prep for common entrance at 13 and sends children to a wide array of schools including big name schools like Uppingham and Harrow whereas Duncombe goes up to 11 and most children go to a mix of state and local private schools.

If it’s Heathmount and private beyond that you want don’t be daunted by the 13 plus as it’s an entry point for most private schools.
