Private Nursery Open Morning - What to Expect

We’re attending a group Open morning at a private primary school, that takes children from 2.5 years - it seems that starting from nursery is the only way to guarantee a primary/pre-prep place. Are we likely to be assessed during this visit? We are bringing DS, but this is optional. Bit worried that DS, as an only child and 16 months at the moment, won’t be very sociable... what should we expect?

What is the name of the school? bound to be someone here who knows it. but if bringing DS is optional then unlikely to be any form of assessment.

It’s Littlegarth, just outside Colchester. Seems a really nice school, just never been involved in private schooling, so not sure what to expect...

Sorry, I am no help but do follow up and let us know how it goes. My daughter will be attending an Open Morning for a nursery too, at a private school, and I am not sure what to expect.
