Hi,

I am a dad and am debating sending my daughter to this school versus a random private school. I did the visit and found the facilities amazing compared to all the other schools I visited. My only question is about the safety of this school ? Are there bullying stories etc ?

Many thanks for your answer.

I love it. Great school, and I haven't come across bullying there. You do get different batches of children though - one year group might be particularly challenging, the next, a dream.

We were only there for a year and absolutely loved it.

People have mixed feelings about the head teacher. Great fundraising team though.

I know people with DCs at William Tyndale. They’re very happy with it and haven’t reported any bullying. So I think you’d be as safe there as you could be anywhere—private schools have bullying too.

You have to live very near the school to get in though!

Many thanks for all your answers. My daughter has been accepted to the nursery of William Tyndale to start in September 2019. Anyone experienced the nursery there ?

I asked my friend with a child in the nursery class. She said her child loves it, the facilities are great (constant access to an outside play area, which private schools may not have) and that the teaching staff have taken into account the abilities of her DC and others and stretched them.

As I’m sure you know, you aren't guaranteed a school place there just because you got a nursery place, but it sounds like a good place to be for the coming year anyway. Good luck!

Many thanks for your answer Terentia. I will let you guys know how it goes for my daughter as I am sure it will help others who wondered like me. One thing for sure the facilities there are amazing. I did the introduction for parents and I was really impressed.
