Hello - I just wondered if anyone had had any experience of WGPS ? Thinking about it as an option for our newborn son and wondered what people thought about it. We are really keen on a happy and friendly place - would like preparation for 11+ as there is no secondary but otherwise our main focus is a happy child!
Many many thanks

Hi Leaper
I've had children go through this school and highly recommend. I don't there are many of us on Mumsnet though and under a different username I was outed before on one. If you have very specific questions having seen the place, feel free to PM me.

But it's a fab school and I'd do it all again, given the chance. Totally recommend it. Current head is excellent. Music offering excellent, and now very happy with the sports. We've been very happy with the academics as well but you need to bear in mind that in this area of London everyone will have a tutor. No one is going it alone with just the help from the school. I would say the current head is VERY well-regarded by the secondary feeder school heads.

Your DC is young and lots and lots will change before they get to the 11+ though. But it's a great school and you won't go wrong. You can always shift gears at 7+ too.

Thank you Ovienna. We got an offer from the school to join EYFS. I read the 2014 ISI report of the school that mentions that school should improve on electronic daily records so that parents are better informed. Do think this has changed? Thank you
