Alleyns- Views please

Hi all,

I was wondering if there are any Alleyns parents on here that could tell me how they find the primary school and how happy their children are there.

Also, are people happy with the teaching of math? The KS2 scores, while solid for math surprise me given its a selective intake. When compared to reading it suggests a big gap in teaching between the two.

If you have a particularly able child do you feel the school is really good at coming up with a plan to stretch them?

Second this question, in particular regarding the overall happiness and general feel of the school. Any observations and input would be tremendously valued and appreciated - from daily routines through high (and low) lights. I would also like to ask how much children are led toward discipline and how much toward independent critical thinking.
