Any good ideas on how to teach my 6 yr old his time table please? Smile

Does he understand the concept, that multiplication is repeated addition?
Does he understand that 3x5 = 5x3 so if he knows one he knows the other?

Which times tables are you trying to learn?

Looking at the patterns on a number square might help for x2 and x5 and x10.

x9 use the fingers method.

Otherwise I'm quite a fan of repetition, though there are various online games etc.
