We’ve been considering an in year change to this school when a place comes up as it’s much handier for where we now live, is a primary school (vs. Infant and junior on separate sites where DC currently are), and appears to have very good results. DC are baptised rc.

However, I’ve heard from not 1, but 3 separate families (2 that attend) that they are currently being investigated for fraudulent SATs activity. I was told they have been repeating the exams for the lowest and highest achieving pupils!

How can I tell if this is correct information?
I could phone the school I guess, but would they admit to this, or would ofsted give this information out anywhere before we progress further?
This would change things totally for me (and would explain why they seem to get such good results).

Have name changed as I know a few local people on here and I’ve found schools a heated topic with some of them. Hmm

It has been reported to the Dep for Education re.an error in the administration of the Key Stage 1 SATS -it would appear that 7 pupils were retested on one SATs paper.
