KS1 SATS Results - Please explain to me

On his report Ds got these results written:
Grade 3 Reading,Writing and also in Mathematics.
Grade 2 in Science and also in Speaking and listening.

I know this is a teacher assessment (because it says so!) but is this OK.His report is otherwise fairly good.

2b is what would be expected of most 7 yos
3 is more than would be expected of most 7 yos.

actually don't think Sci is split into 2 abc, just 123, so a 2 is bangon expected level.

We had a similar report but teacher gave us a slip of paper with 2 abc etc and explanantion with it. that helped

i dont understand the abc, which is higher. a or c?
