Mathilda Marks or Etz Chaim?

Deciding between Mathilda Marks and Etz Chaim. Anyone have any views? Are the parents of one generally more religious than the other? We are middle of the road/not particularly observant and only applying for faith school due to the academic results.

I can't advise as to how observant the respective parents groups are, but the catchment around MM is much tighter - which might suggest a more varied intake perhaps? EC has a significantly more spread out catchment, which could be because it's a much younger/less established school. Attainment is better at MM, progress better at EC. Make of that what you will.

MM's outstanding Ofsted is far too out of date to be of use, though clearly they are still getting the results. I would go with whichever is closer, and/or whichever you liked more when you visited.

If those are your two options (and I really sympathise, there are so many church schools in that area!), I presume you're not in catchment for Fairway or Orion?

Just out of catchment for fairway and courtlands and think Orion is too big.
