DD has been there since pre-prep and is currently in year 1. It's a lovely school - kind, friendly, well-organised and with very committed teachers. There is a lot of homework and the traffic round the school is awful - it is only served by one bus, which is normally stuck in said traffic! However, I don't think the homework is unusual bit it starts early as a lot of students will be taking academic tests for secondary. I have been impressed by the Head, who is very visible around the school. I don't know how easy it is to get an in year place though as classes are normally quite full. I hope that helps, but go and see what you think. There are lots of good schools in the area.
