Hello,
Am looking into prep schools for dd4, does anyone have recent experience of this school? I've heard great things for a long time but nothing recent, we're about 40mins away.
If there's anyone whose child has attended, did you just use a state/village school before or pre-prep? Also, would we be near enough to consider day-only, or would this miss most of the fun?
Many thanks Smile

If I lived nearer/had children going through prep again, this would be the dream school! To be able to tree-climb daily etc sounds like the most amazing childhood...(sorry dont have direct experience though!)

Do they do day only? I thought it was all boarding?

Hi. Thanks for the replies!
They do have a day rate but I'd be worried it's mostly boarders so she'd be missing out.
Does sounds very enticing but not a whole lot of info out there to be found, plus for the same fees it does sound like there might be similar schooling available in the area (albeit, co-Ed), I do like the idea of letting little girls be little girls for a long as possible.

A bit late to this conversation but I have day girls at Hanford...we live about 30 mins from the school...there are several day girls, all of which are wholly integrated with the boarders (day girls get their own bed in a dorm with boarders and all day girls get around 17 nights optional boarding per term thrown in with the day fee, to be taken as and when you want). It is the most amazing school....combining excellent academics with freedom to be children outside of the classroom. Let me know if you would like to know more.
