Primary schools in Livingston

Hi,
We are moving to Livingston Scotland, from England. I have a 4 year old daughter who is due to start her primary school coming year. We are going to reside in Livingston and I was wondering if some schools have a better reputation than others. I did go through the HMIE ratings but to be honest they seem very generic for all schools. 3 schools I am looking in the area are dedridge primary, bankton primary and Livingston village primary. Are any of these schools ranked better than one another? I would be new to the area, so have no idea about it. Any heads up would be greatly appreciated.

In terms of ranking I am unsure, I will say though that Livingston village is a newer school, and seems to have a better reputation.

The other thing to consider is that they feed into different high schools. I know it's a while off but it might help the decision. Catchment areas can be tricky too, most schools are pretty strict about only allowing in pupils from their area due to issues with space.
