Advice on Crouch End/Muswell Hill/Highgate schools

We are trying to decide between a few schools and would welcome any advice or feedback. Techincally, our closest school is Muswell Hill primary, but we were just on the edge of the catchment last year so it's not likely we will get in, and we thought the facilities looked tired. The sensible choice would be Rokesly which is a popular Crouch End and would be good commute wise, but I didn't get a good vibe from the open day. We are also considering two RC schools- Our Lady of Muswell and St Joseph's in Highgate. Of the two, we preferred St Joseph's but it would be the hardest to get to. I feel totally overwhelmed by the choice. She is a bright but quiet, sensitive child and I want somewhere that she can be herself and be happy.

Campsbourne is a lovely school too. My DD loves it.

Thanks for the feedback on Campsbourne. We loved the grounds and forest school area.

Ooh. I'm very interested in this. We have just moved to Muswell Hill. We are near St James, Tetherdown but are shoddy Catholics (that description should out me nicely!). One local had told me to stay in the waiting list for Tetherdown but I keep seeing these descriptions of OLM as excellent. Really grateful for any more info. Going into reception, will need after school club eventually as other child with sen will have very separate pick up.
