Mothercare have an online site, which should include their gingham dresses.

Woolies online have a good selection of different colours and styles, mcdreamy.

Just been on the Woolies site as someone here has said their delivery is really fast but I couldn't find them

How old/what size is she? I have a selection of M&S ones bought for my daughters (who don't wear uniform here in France either so they only got worn occasionally) that are now outgrown but still in fab condition if you're interested. They are brilliant, wash easily, dry fast, don't need ironing

M&S on special atm

Will look as M&S site, not sure if they deliver out here though.

Have found these on ebay ... I typed in 'school dress' as a search term ....

McDreamy · 25/06/2007 10:35

Ok have found them on the M&S site but the sizes go from 4 to 6, there's no 5! Are M and S generous? She's an average size girl.

Thanks for the ebay link, don't know why I didn't think of that!

Just looked and I have 2 gingham check ones in an age 7, one red, one blue, that my daughter wore when she was 5.

I tend to buy them a couple of sizes up from their age as I like them longer (mid-calf)and I thought their actual age ones were a bit short (knee length).

McDreamy · 25/06/2007 10:45

How much would you like for them?

McDreamy - I'm sure M&S do a size 5. But their site doesn't list a size if it is out of stock.
Worth trying again later, if you want to use them.
