Please tell me about maths apps that you rate, especially to help with yr 5 maths.

mathsframe.co.uk/ is very good site which you can get some Apps for small fee. There are free resources on website for free use too.

We have access to IXL(home) and Mathsletics(from school), if you want year group specific work, I rate both, though they are tedious.

If you want to work on specific topics, like times tables, there are many free sites I can recommend.

Thanks. I don’t think I need specific topics, just anything to help. They are very able but demotivated and I’m worried they are going to fall behind. School not really helping. So any apps that are tempting to play might help.

Very able then maybe something like parallel might be fun.
Or just simply do something like khanacademy or problem solving on nrich.
