Bassett Green Primary

Hi, we’ve just moved to Bassett, Southampton with our 1 year old. Just found out that our catchment school is Bassett Green Primary and now i’m panicking!! Can anyone tell me of their (and their children’s) experience of the school? Swaythling and Hollybrook are the next nearest, would she have any chance of getting in to either one of those? Am I worrying far too soon? Hmm

Ah, yes. The joy of the flower estate.
Have a look at Portswood. You've little chance on Highfield.
On the other hand I know people who teach at Bassett Green and they get good value added.

Do not panic.
Get involved with NCT / Playgroups and sound out what others are doing
