Lacey Green Wilmslow- Holidays in term time

Does anybody have any recent experience about taking holidays in term time in Primary school? I have accidentally booked the end of the holiday outside of the easter break which will mean 2 days off school. ( I aligned with my sister whos school holidays are different to mine) doh!.
I am wondering how militant schools are over holidays as tehre is much scare mongering. Trying to figure out if the lesser evil is to pay the fine or pay massive change penalties as the holiday is non refundable.

I would ask for the two days off as the holiday is with sibling who has a different holiday break from Lacey Green. Probably they will say no you cannot have it off as authorised absence and you will then have to decide to be absent and see what the school does when you are off. The school will report the absence and this may or may not end up with a fine but I suspect the cost of the fine for two days will be less than the cost of Changing / cancelling the holiday

Fines are only issued after 5 days unauthorised absence, and not always even then.
You won’t be fined for 2 days unauthorised leave.
