Ideas/ resources to encourage creative writing

I have been told that both my DC are good at creative writing. I do not see a lot of it at school and so I want to encourage it at home.

Can anyone please recommend some resources or share some ideas as to how we can encourage this at home?

Look up 642 Things to Write About on Amazon. There's a junior edition. It's fab!

Usborne have some lovely creative writing books. My DD loves them. There is one called The Usborne Creative Writing book and then others focused on specific types of books such as adventure stories, comics etc.
