Hi Thomcat,
This is a bit random but was just looking for some schools info and reading through some threads and it suddenly dawned on me that I used to know you a few years back when I was seeing (and moved in with, albeit for a very short time!) one of your DPs friends. You were pregnant with your first dd when we split up and i'd always wondered how you were all doing. The bf in question btw, his first initial M, and surname rhymes with Leek!!

I only discovered this site recently and haven't posted much (bit shy!) but find it an invaluable source of info. I now have 2 dds (1 nand 2.5) and we are toying with the idea of a third....

Anyway....I hope I have got this right and you are who I think you are, I always found you to be really warm, friendly and welcoming whenever we were at social things together

Anyway, please don't feel you have to reply, though, of course it would be lovely if you did...

love Ax

Hello! This is the real me! (name changed in the earlier post in case it you weren't who I thought you were!) Have worked out how to see photos since, so I realised I was right anyway . You and your girls all look great and lovely news about number three, wishing you well with that.

Without going into too much detail(!) after parting with M I had a bit of a whirlwind romance and met, bought house, married and fell pregnant within the space of a year. When she(pic on my profile) was 6 months old we found out we were having another and had another gorgeous dd. So we now have 2 and are toying with the idea of a third before the gap gets too big. Love having them close together but the hardest work ever, worth it though! Still in North London, not working but hoping to go back pt soon.

Thanks for replying, maybe we'll "bump" into each other on the boards at some point although I go in phases of coming on here...I hope you don't mind me saying hi, it would have felt a bit wierd not to say anything, especially when I realised you were who I thought you were!!

Wishing you well for September, hi to your dp

Ax

Hi again

LOL at you name changing incase you were wrong!
So have we crossed paths and chatted on here without me realisng? How funny!

Wow, that's some fab whirlwind romance! How lovely and congratulations on the births of your 2 lovely daughters

Getting very excited about no3, just paid for the pool (having another home birth) and getting a little organised for it and looking forward to it. Mumsnet is great, I've goit my pool comng to me thanks to Mumsnet, met my amazing doula on here, and everyone will probably help me with the name decision! Mumsnet were among the first to know I was pregnant too! Been such a supportive site to me over the years. You may, or amy not know, that Charlotte has Down's syndrome and Mumsnet has been invaluable in it's support. Met some amazing women on here that I wouldn't have otherwise known.

Mad to think last time we saw each other I was pregnant with Charlotte! She's 5.5 now and such a rascal. She's overflowing with mischeif and fun and Eve is a complete nutter. God help this 3rd child!

You should get yourself onto Facebook. That would be so funny, esp as MG is on there on my friends list!

Haven't seen him for a while but DP still goes fr the odd Friday night beer in town with him and a small group.
If I said Dave would you remember who I'm talking about? Well he's getting married in October and that'll be the next time I see all that lot. I see Dave as much as I can but he's the other side of London and we all have busy lives. Who else, remeber who's house they all lived in M's - well he's fab, moved to France, then South Africa where he met his now wife and they moved to Botswana, got married in Argentina, which is where she is from, and now deciding which continent to move to and settle down on while he finished passing his pilots exams!

Can't think of anyone else that you'll remember that I catch you up on.

If you do get onto Facebook we can message each other there and I can be more open with names etc.

Lovely to 'see' you again sweet.
Big love - TC / S xx

Hi there . Just a quick one whilst the girls are sleeping...

I don't think we've chatted on here before, I have only really been on here for a few months, I have sold a few bits and had some good advice on potty training/development etc.. I agree it is an amazing site, I wish i'd known about it earlier...

Have only just been introduced to facebook, I will look for you now and send you a proper message if I get a few more minutes of peace!

xxA
