Does anyone know the process when children are transferred from the health visiting team to the school nurse? Is there anything different in this process for families accessing Universal Plus support?
I have had support from my health visitor due to my mental health and fortunately there are no concerns around my daughter who is flourishing.
I'm guessing that there is a shift away from supporting parents' needs once children begin school and are no longer under the health visiting team? Am I going to loose the support I have had once she starts school?
Of course the focus should be on the children. It just seems the health visiting team recognise the potential impact of parental mental health difficulties and that supporting parents is vicariously supporting the child.
Also. What information do the schools receive?
