Has anyone got recent experience of St Hilda’s school in Harpenden? Would you recommend it?

I’m not a person who usually posts on such forums however I feel that I have a duty to let others know what experience we had at Annemount school nw11
We started as a new entry in reception my son only just turned 4. From the 3rd week the headmistress pulled me aside to ask for a meeting using worrying terms such as poor eye contact, social problems, inflexibility, etc. I had absolutely no previous such concerns from the prior nursery and as a doctor myself had also not noticed any of the “red flags” she was expressing. We went through a horrible year - being advised to pay £1000’s on “assessments and therapy” which I didn’t think we needed. My child was a young new starter who needed some time to settle. thankfully we left after a year. He is now in year 1 at a very prestigious academic school where he is very happy and they do not think there is anything wrong with him.
Having spoken to other parents at the school - this is not an uncommon finding. There are plenty of similar examples. I only wish I had been warned from a similar forum before we paid £15k for one year of stress and upset.
