Thomas Reade Primary School or Rush Common Primary School

Hello,
We just moved to north Abingdon from US and plan to buy property. Our son will go to primary school next year. There are 2 properties we are interested in - one is in Thomas Reade catchment and the other in Rush Common’s. I was told that both of them were good schools. Just want to know which one is better? Does anyone have suggestions? If we are in catchment area, is it definitely that our son has a place?
Any help and guidance would be brilliant.
