Oakwood Primary School St Albans

My family and I are planning to relocate to east side of St Albans and the nearest primary school is Oakwood. My children will be starting reception in September 2019 so I have only recently started looking into schools.
Does anyone have experience with their child attending school here in the recent years? There is no recent Ofsted report and stats seem to show negative progress in maths and writing.
You advise and experiences is much appreciated.

Oakwood Primary St Albans now does have an Ofsted report, they have been downgraded and Ofsted rightly pointed out the failings in the progression of pupils, lack of ambition and the inconsistency in the curriculum. They mix year groups continuously, which means if your child is for example in Y2 they will have lessons with Y1 or even Reception! It makes no sense whatsoever and benefits nobody. The school saves money on salaries this way….
The leadership is new and profoundly incompetent, which is reflected in the Ofsted report.
Sad really, the previous much respected head teacher has left Oakwood Primary and it’s utter chaos now…
