Hi There,
I would be moving to Watford in the Bushey Area. I have a 5 year old DS and was wondering if anyone can recommend Excellent Primary Schools or highly regarded primaries in the Area and is there anyone that i should avoid? Would very much appreciate your response. Thanks

I went to Hartsbourne primary many years ago now Grin sorry I know that's not helpful but I've never met anyone not from Bushey that knows about it!

Hartsbourne back then had a lot of RAF kids as right next to the base and the military housing there. The grounds are lovely with a very large playing field and conservation area - other schools might not have this, I remember Little Reddings and The Rutts (Bushey Heath Primary) were much smaller as in the middle of housing.

Good luck! Bushey and Watford were nice places to grow up Smile

Also, Can anyone tell me what is it like living in the Area?

Bushey and Bushey Heath are both nice. Small pubs, nice high street, easy to get to London via Watford or Stanmore

Does anyone know what bushey heath primary school is like these days? Is it as good as the excellent report back in 2009 from ofsted?
