Hello, does anyone have any experience of Horris Hill and specifically whether it is a happy place? I have a Year 5 DS and am thinking of it either for now or for Y6.

I really like the school and consider it for ds. The headmaster and his wife have created a lovely family feel. A friend of mine had two ds at the school and both boys were very happy. It nurtures boys with a wide range of aptitude, from Eton KS potential to more practically inclined boys, so while the school achieves impressive results it is no hothouse and there is no pressure to perform beyond personal limits just to make the school look good. What is your impression?
