Could any one give me your opinion between living in Marlow or in a Windsor? Which place is more for a family home? Thank you in advance!

My favourite is Marlow but as you have posted in primary education, I would check you can get your children into a school. Marlow is popular. Also. Bucks has grammar schools and Windsor in Berkshire does not. The secondary modern in Marlow is a good one and well liked by parents. It’s as good as many comprehensive schools. I love Marlow and it is fantastic for families and will have good access to Crossrail at Maidenhead eventually.

You need to be aware that Windsor has the three tier system (year r - year 4; year 5 - year 8; year 9 - year 13). This is not everyone's cup of tea. It's just Windsor though. Maidenhead, even though it's the same LA has r-6 and 7-13...

I would much prefer Windsor as a place to live, as long as you can be in a good area. However I agree with PP that the education scene is a bit more complicated/ hit and miss in Windsor.

If you have the money to live in walking distance of Windsor town centre and use Lambrook/ Wellington- do that! Grin
