My DD & DS 11& 9, both are good readers. Sometimes they have a lull in having anything that grips them. I let them listen to audio books occasionally. They have listened to various books but mainly ones that were slightly too difficult for them but the enjoyed listening to. A few years ago they listened to Stephen Fry reading Harry Potter, now DS9 is re-reading them himself as loved them. They had listened to Anne Frank's Diary, some Bill Bryson etc. What are people's opinions on audio books? Are they helpful for learning? They obviously mainly read books but do enjoy the odd book this way.
